211
Anyone know what a replacement windshield for a 2000 outback would cost? This has the winter package and heated wiper elements.
idosubaru
i just had a 99 done a couple months ago for $205 total (taxes, everything), they came and did it in the parking lot while i was at work. there's various online estimate you can get. get one of those and the locals can usually come in under that by $50-$100 depending how high of a quote you got. john40iowa
My Forester has had two of them over the past five years. It seems like the glass shop said the price is actually coming down, at least for model. With the last one I think I paid around $300. or maybe $350. including installation. jp98
Heated element window going to cost more than 300 just for the glass. I just had mine done this last spring in a 98 Outback with the heated elememt window and it was only $290 installed at my home. It really depends on where you are located at for what price you can have it done for.
211
I got a deal with one of the more 'reputable' glass shops in town; Louis' Auto Glass quoted me 250 out the door. This includes new moulding, tax, everything but wipers. I was able to find a rather sketchy glass guy in town who quoted 250 and Louis was able to price match. This is including the heated elements
987687
The heated elements only add around $30 to a window. Local places want between 230 and 270 for replacement on my 98GT. It's still broken.... haha.
