bheinen74
unfortunately did not come with wiring instructions or wiring diagram. On the back of the relay are 4 prongs, labeled : L B S G guessing isn't working, i thought maybe L-to lights B - battery S- switch G grounds. Anyone have similar setup that can tell me more info would be appreciated. did a temp hookup a few different ways, switch lights up when on, relay clicks, no lights. i did hook 12v directly to lights and they come on very dim with no relay but both worked. Maybe there is a "old school" Subaru service person on here who remembers working at a dealer and installing these and could direct me....here's to hoping for help Edited October 23, 2011 by bheinen74

aba4430
now, for the mounting location on my BRAT, anybody have ideas for location to mount them?.... One option is to get heavy duty L-brackets from Lowes (or HD) and mount them under the Brat bumper. If you put your hands behind the bumper and feel along the inside channel, you will note a hole close to each end. These holes are not through the bumper plastic, so you will have to drill holes through the plastic on each side. You should not mount the lamps directly on the plastic cover due to definite potential for damage/deformation. The HD L-brackets will protect the plastic cover and is good support for a secure mounting. The verticle of the L-bracket goes behind the bumper. It has been several years since I did mine, so my memory is a bit hazy. If the relay is a standard Bosch type, here is a link to typical wiring schemes (see page 14). http://www.tune-town.com/relays.pdf
TomRhere
Some relays use the power feed to the relay's coil for the Common between the switched contacts. Rewire your temporyary wiring that made the relay click. Take a test light and attach one end to the Battery - you have on the relay, Touch other end of test light to each of the unused terminals to see if one will light the test light. tundrabrat
Badass I have a yellow set of those NIB. Do you know anyone who has a late model cyclops light like yours? I have an older one I am looking to sell.
mcbrat
remember, only 4 lights on at a time is the "legal" limit in Iowa I've got a set of those I just dug out to sell, but just the lights with a standard single bolt mount. no relays or switches....
