1-3-2-4
Some old pics... out of all of them I miss the '03 Forester XS First started off with the 97 Forester L had a 95 impreza L FWD for awhile had a 95 Legacy for awhile... current 97 legacy outback I've noticed a little minor handling changes going from the 95 to 97 legacy. it would be so nice with a front and rear LSD.. I want to put a front LSD in when I replace the transmission.. still thinking about that. few years later traded it in for this 03 Forester XS with like 24K on it
notliving
I've had a few Subarus over the years. First one was an '85 GL wagon FWD. Bought it for $150 in pretty dang good shape and proceeded to beat the dogsh*t out of it. Then used it for a ramp. After that I picked up a 2000 2.5 RS. wish I would have kept that one. After the RS I wanted to go big so I picked up an '05 STI. Only had 3200 miles on it when I got it. Figured I'd get myself into trouble if I kept it any longer so I sold it. After that I found a nice little brat to drive for a while. Quite a change of pace. Got the Impreza bug again and Picked up this '98 2.5RS (been my DD for the last 4 years) And last but not least. I got this '88 GL coupe last year on a whim. In pretty good shape. Runnin great after the recent HG replacement. Geez I've had too many cars. Those are only the Subarus. Toyotas are a different story.

1982gl4
A lot. I don't even know where to begin... These are the current ones. 1982 GL wagon 4x4 It's now getting very rusty, thinking of getting a new shell and swapping everything over. It looks good, but underneath is another story.... 1984 GL FWD Wagon. "the cali wagon" My 86 Brat, in the process of an EJ swap. 1992 Legacy with a ton of newer parts swapped on. 2002 WRX mostly stock. And a few of the one's I have sold. 1992 4eat Legacy LS with ob suspension (Spiffy) 1992 SVX 55,000 when I sold it five speed swapped (should have kept ) 1997 Impreza Brighton AWD 223k when sold and the wrecked by the next owner. And My old Brat sold a few years ago death by rust shortly after. I've had many, many, more that I have fixed and sold, but these are the ones that I have driven and owned longer than to just fix and sell. Not bad for a 19 year old
987687
My first car. 96 L 5speed. Got it with 87k miles, but it ended up having a lot of issues. Though, it was a good little car. The new owner seems pretty happy with it. While I still had the 96 I bought 89 GL as a project from bratman18. Already lifted with the pug wheels, d/r swap and ea81 swap. It needed some work though, rust repair, suspension work, and the front end camber and toe needed to be worked out. I cleaned up some stuff with the motor, got the distributor set right, wheel bearings and swapped rear disc brakes. It's been a fun project and I learned a lot from this car, never selling it, probably swapping everything to a new shell when it rusts out. Back in about febuary I'd had enough with the 96. I ended up driving the GL most of the winter because of stupid problems, so when I found this thing for $400 with a bad engine I jumped on the deal. 230k miles when I bought it, I swapped in a 2.2 in freezing cold weather and tuned up the auto transmission. I posted the 96 for sale and it sold a week later, I could probably have gotten more for it. But I was too excited to get the GT on the road and was sick of my beloved 96... Besides the engine I haven't done much to it, JDM lights, HIDs, some different wheels, etc. But nothing much. Pretty much boring, reliable DD-mobile. ftwneon
Well you guys wanted pics... My First was a 97 Legacy GT Then I picked up a 05 92x After I sold that I picked up an 88 GL wagon from a friend. Actually got to take it out on the track at Mid-Ohio for a few laps haha I've got the Forester now as my daily driver, came down from Canada and has the Dynastar "package" so it has the running boards on it. It got totaled out in April when I got rear ended by a drunk driver but I was able to get it aligned and I'm still driving it today Now I have my Brat that going to become a project when I can afford more parts. (Let me know if it's too many pictures and I'll tone it down a bit lol I love pics!)

Caboobaroo
Guess I will put up some pics of a few that I've owned... My first Subaru. 1983 GL hatchback. EA81 with a Carter-Weber, FWD 5-speed. Traded for a 1979 4wd wagon. The 1979 4wd gen 1 stage 2 wagon. Ended up getting stripped. My 1978 Brat, RWD, lowered. Traded a 1987 FWD 5-speed Justy for it that needed lots of work My first 1989 black RX. Did a lot of mods to this before I stripped it (blew 3 EA82Ts) and everything but the engine went into my 1987 GL coupe My 1987 GL coupe. Started life out as a FWD 3AT and when I got it, it had a blown EA82 SPFI in it. Swapped in all the suspension and subframes from the first black RX, along with the RX transmission, stage 2 clutch and rear LSD. Currently being stripped so the shell can be hauled off for scrap. My 1989 XT6 FT4WD 5-speed. I bought this from the original owners, sold it to Turbone, then bought it back. Has taken best XT/XT6 at WCSS10, WCSS11 and WCSS12. Couldn't make it to WCSS13 as I was doing a major engine overhaul on it. Freshly resealed ER27, new timing belt covers, new timing belts and components, new waterpump, new clutch, resurfaced flywheel, rebooted both front axles, 3.90VLSD and much more. Currently parked in the garage:D This pic is from WCSS11 next to Turbone's RX. And now the newest Subaru that I've added to the stable. #39, 1989 black RX. This car is receiving everything from my silver GL (EJ22T, Impreza 5-speed, complete 5-lug conversion, 3.90VLSD and much more). Interior is currently missing but its getting the interior from my GL (blue) along with my STi seats and some black interior bits that I've picked up. This will be coming into my garage soon for winter so I can get it back on the road before next year:brow:

subynut
how the hell did you get an EA82 to put out 200HP!! It's not a matter of if an EA82 can hit 200hp, it's how long will it last. If you increase the boost, a decent intercooler, custom cams, and good EM you can hit 200. However, do you really want to rebuild the engine every oil change? The EA82 really is happiest in stock N/A form; SPFI, from what I have gathered on the board. Any more power than that, and you start cutting deeply into the reliability of the engine. This is a 25+ year old engine design, and from a performance perspective, a poor design at best. However, Subaru learned their lesson and released the EJ series.
