Thanks! I absolutely love the black/red color combo. Still not 100% on the black hood, but I can't get over how good the two-tone looks on the rest of the car. And since all the black is truck bed liner, it's strong against rocks.

Yeah, I loved the look of your PandaWagon at WCSS last year. Gave me motivation to two-tone my wagon. ;)

I'm curious as to what front end he has mated onto there, that just doesn't look stock. Maybe a nissan sentra? ...

Yes, it is a Sentra front end; but the one that fits almost perfectly, is the same era's Nissan Maxima.

I've seen those "conversions" in Honduras too... due to the severe Lack of Spare parts.

Is that lightning mcqueen in real life?!

yes... third world version...

Honduras is at the Third World also, But I Preffer the Honduran Version:

more of these need to be lowered

if all your car will ever see is pavement, go for it...

But that isn't what Subaru are made for.

Honestly, they were made for doing what we do with them, things like getting out,

like this...

and seeing sights like these...

Even most US Forest trails will EAT a lowered vehicle.

it just seems a waste of Japanese (hands over hearts folks) engineering to neuter a vehicle in such a way.

But, that is just my opinion, and accounts for little in this crazy mixed up world.

Do what you wanna do, build it the way you want to and then drive what ya got.

It just seems like pulling the wings off a 747 so you can sit in your backyard and scare the neighbors.

Semper Gumby.

(always flexible)

On and by the way that is

It is an old steam paddle boat they docked and turned in to a restaurant. It was real popular for awhile but eventually went out of business. It's been abandoned on the Hudson river for awhile now, but there are plans to dismantle it soon.
