Hoshwa
I have a 2006 Forester. The keyless remote broke. Took apart and a transistor broke off of the microprocessor board. Do not have the micro soldering tools to repair it. Anyone know who repairs these, if that is possible. Also, anyone know a good source to get a new one at a reasonable price. Not sure if a used one can be reset to work with my car. It is a two button I believe. The number off of the back is: ic: 3495A-WB1U711 If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Legacy777
If it can't be repaired, your best bet is to get a new one from the dealer. If you can find a used one, I would suspect it could be programmed to your car. I just picked up an 06 Legacy and it does not have any keyless remotes, so I will be venturing down this path to get new ones, once I get the car shipped to me.
