Rust
Any ideas for fixing condensation on the interior windows. I gutted the entire interior, fixed all the leaks, re-installed everything after a thorough cleaning and drying.....but when I run the heater the whole cabin foggs up.:-\ The side dash fresh air vents are leaking in a bit, dont know if this has anything to do with it. But I do know there is not a drop of water inside the car....and i do not park it outdoors for water to get in anyway. I'm used to getting stares commuting down the highway in a 30 yr old subie....now I'm getting stares like cheech and chong are in my back seat. moosens
Mobile spa , dude you're going to get rich!! Drive it down to Westport and housewives with too much money will flock to you. Go park outside Stew Leonards and you'll be swimming in MILF. *************** galore. Lol I think it's the added fresh cold air. Seal madness! Enjoy, and Happy New Year!! Subafreak
Hmm. My 74 did the same thing yesterday. It was only the right side of the windshield and pass glass. It did seem like it could have been related to the side vent. I've had a few times where I've gotten smoke from the heater core for no apparent reason also. Havnt found any signs of leakage to explain it. I suppose it could be related to outside conditions. Either way......keep on burning.
moosens
Thanks Pete , now my '78 is doing it too !!! Must be this warm spell. New England terra. I know I'm overdue for the windshield gasket. Yup , me , the guy who ordered them. :-p BTW , got the '78 running pretty good right now. Oy! Still can't wait to get thru the break in and adjust those valves again. Left bank a little louder than right bank but neither are what I'd call excessive so I'll let 'em tick a bit for another 400 miles.
Rust
It's mainly on the drivers side, at night I see rainbows in it(oil film) and its not easy to wipe off......That plus the car is bellowing smoke during warm up leads me to believe a new head gasket or engine overhaul is in my future. The only thing that has me stumped is if oil is getting into the water, why is only half of my widshield getting foggy/filmy? Just gonna keep running it as it is. I have a decent ea81 I can put in in the spring.
