Travis87GL
Hey, I went mobbin up Capitol Forest here in Olympia WA. Tons of snow it was awesome, got pushed a little to close to the ditch by some trucks commin up while i was on the way down and ended up in the ditch, Got pulled out by a passing truck (lots of good people up there) "the beast" out climbed brand new jeep compass's on the mountian. today was an amazing 4x4 with my '87GL "the beast" Here's my question Somebody told me that there is a tool that goes to the 87GL that you can pump up the shocks and give the car extra height. I was wondering if that is true? what tool is this and were do i pump? and were do i get the tool?
MilesFox
If your car has air struts, it has its own height control. If it were conentional coil struts, they are adjustable for 1985 and 1986. these swap in. you can swap in the rear coilovers from a FWD as they are a little longer since their mounting point is lower, and this will bump up the rear quite a bit.
