Lachlan
I have a Weber 32/36 mounted to my 81 Brat (EA81) with a redline kit (K730M). I noticed that, depending on which way I mount the adapter plate, I block either part of the primary or part of the secondary throttle. Which is the better way to mount it? GeneralDisorder
Larger side of the oval goes to the secondary. Doesn't really matter much though. You can grind and file them to fit the ports better but the performance is really not affected either way. GD

spazomatic
mine also had the mismatch. about 10 careful minutes with a die grinder and they were matched up real nice. as a consequence, I had to drill/tap/plug the coolant passage cuz it kept blowing through the gasket
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
The coolant passage isn't needed anymore with the Weber... So is good Idea to Close it when you do a Weber carb Swap, to avoid Problems. I also Blocked it with aluminium welding, on my EA82. Kind Regards.
