ShawnW
I can't seem to find the diagram on how to wire up the indicator light for the dash on an 83-84 wagon. The way I have it right now isn't right. The light comes on but wire gets warm and dash lights around it dim.
redscab
sounds like the circuit you are using to power it already has too much stuff on it or connections in that circuit are corroded causing more resistance for the whole circuit... is it a stock bulb? you might want to just look at the 3AT 4WD diagram to see what all is on that circuit, and see if there's a way to isolate the power and ground for it to see if it changes anything... Gloyale
Light has power to it already. Switch connects it through to ground.
ShawnW
The AT system has some sort of checker device in the instrument cluster but for the life of me I can't find it. 83 FSM says its on the back of the inst cluster with a wiper relay.
