Trainingday
Ok here's the deal i'm new to hear so i'm not sure where to ask these question. I have a 1971 Sambar w/335cc I am looking for tune-up parts ie: Distribator cap, rotor, points and plugs. First problem is when i call every parts place says thier book only shows 4 cylinder motors for that yr, no 2 cylinder 2 strokes. Next the plugs that i took out of it are Champion L-81Y, which I came to find out are used for marine appl. outboard motors. I'm wondering do i have the wrong? How do I find out what year it is. Where can i find the parts i need (motercycle shop may be distbutor looks like many i have see on bikes). I live in Northern California ( San Franisco ), I would like to get the parts locally if I can. Please if anyone can help i would be very grateful. gmdagit
If you go to rockauto.com and look up Subaru 1970 they have the parks listed under the 360 car model for your engine. Edited January 24, 2012 by Qman
