smiffy6four
yup, it can be done. I was looking at his very idea yesterday. I have an 85 VW Vanagon and a Subaru. It occured to me to marry them up.
nipper
I will say the vw-subaru board I found that on makes NASOIC look down right freindly. They are having a war because the board is about maiting subaru power to vw vanagons, and they dont apreciate someone discussing a transmission swap. silly. WoodsWagon
The Samba is very much about keeping the cars true to OG specs. I'm on there because of the 68 Type3 Fastback I had. A much better site for engine swaps is http://www.shoptalkforums.com/
nipper
Samba is liberal when compared to the yahoo group for putting sooby hearts in VW vans. i was watching as i am taking mental notes. My dream i-won-the-lottery plan is to put a sooby in the back of a corvair myself
