I have a 1988 Subaru DL with the 1.8 in it I am wanting to swap the 88 in to the 93 and from looking at it looks like it should swap over any ideas on any problems I might run n to Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Use the accesory brackets from the 93 since that stuff may have changed over those years - belt routing, tension adjust, etc..... DL won't have AC and the Loyale probably does. Subruise Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 i put a carby motor in my 91 loyale. i left the spfi intake hooked up in car and just dropped in the carby longblock. not sure if your dl is carbed but the only shortfall is a slight compression drop (different pistons).
