monk50
Having read all the posts concerning the same size tire/wear/ diameter to prevent problems with 4-wheel drive caused me to wonder. If the a difference in tire size as small as 1/4 inch can cause problems what about a differential in tire pressure? Makes me think that if you do not keep tire pressure the same on each axle and maybe the same pressure in all 4 tires, would that cause problems? Just curious in NC. Monk Yes, it could cause problems; the same as uneven tire wear. Same pressure on same axle; as per the plate on the driver's door jamb, front and rear tires pressures are different because of the weight loading front versus rear.
