turboguzzi
Been using made in Italy Metteli CV's in my previous 1st gen and now also in my 2nd gen, and cant say i am happy with the quality.... 8000 km's and its already starting to make some noise http://www.metelli.com/en/transmission.php is there another brand / source in Europe that makes good quality ones? Would bring from the USA but shipping, taxes, etc. will make this very expensive. any info will appreciated TG

rverdoold
Last time it was done on our old Legacy I did not even had a drivers licence and then it was done at the 'ex-subaru dealer' with original parts. Perhaps check germany they have quite good aftermarket parts.
johnceggleston
a possible solution might be to buy used subaru axles from the parts salvage yard and install new boots. subaru axles are much better than after market, as you know, and even with torn boots, if they still have grease in them they will last a long time. folks here do it. turboguzzi
well, it's been a while but while searching for pads, came across this german site who serves all of europe and prices for most consumables like CV's, bearings, belts, filters are REALLY cheap, like cheaper than int'l ebay stuff http://www.pkwteile.de/ just choose the right flag
