NorthCoast
I've got a new longer steering shaft that I need to install after installing OB body spacers and 1" strut spacers. Is dropping the cross member the easiest way or am I missing something?
Gloyale
Don't drop the crossmember. Just unbolt both lockdowns on the coupler, slide it all the way up the steering column, until the bottom end is free, then pull it back off the other way. NorthCoast
Tried that last night but it would slide up far enough. Also, sent you a PM yesterday RE: lift pricing...just an FYI.
Gloyale
Tried that last night but it would slide up far enough. It will. spray some PB or WD-40 on it. take the bolts all the way out. I'll check my inbox.
NorthCoast
I got it out but couldn't get the longer one in so I put out all back together for now.
kanurys
Just drop the steering rack down (4 bolts). That should give you enough room and play to get it on there. Just be carful of your steering lines.
