Subafreak
Damn you are ambitious! By cheap I assume you mean you found it and dragged it home? Well at least it does look minimally rusted.
shortysayhi
Damn you are ambitious! By cheap I assume you mean you found it and dragged it home? Well at least it does look minimally rusted. I am a part time student. And fixed my car all I can. So gotta get a new project that will take a long time. And like 50$. But didn't drag it since there's still massive amounts of snow at my house (3 feet on the sides of my driveway). I'd say the worst part was the top of the roof and front fender
Subafreak
Lol. Well it should make an excellent wheeling prodject.

shortysayhi
I've got a windshield for you when you're ready. I might take you up on that, How much are you asking for it? So I'm picking up (hopefully) a 1988 Toyota rear axle with 4.10 gears, then just have to go get everything for a EJ swap!! Deffinetly wish the snow would melt! moosens
There's a guy in TN who might be sitting on new windshields he hasn't gotten to yet. "drivesubies" is Danny W. Great guy to deal with. If you need one and he's not ready I'll help u out but shipping will be a lot.
shortysayhi
So I've decided to not go for a lifted brat... costs to much money for my crazy ideas! still doing ej22 (looking at a couple this weekend) but its going to be lowered and a 85 d/r, with probably 5 lug swap, still with quite a bit of custom fab work... can't wait to get her home... once the snow melts... Pooparu
You should do something like this:
shortysayhi
Thinking of this with fender flares, maybe a lil lower in the front
O.C.D.
What are those exact wheels and their size/offset please. Wanna throw some on my '80 like this. White wheels above.
bheinen74
I think those are just wagon wheels from a trailer, mounted in reverse so the fronts are in towards the axle and the inward part of the wheel is mounted outward.-with relocated valve stems. TheLoyale
These are pretty close, they are also 15". I have seen these on a 1993 Brumby. http://www.trailer-wheels.com/15-inch-White-Spoke-Trailer-Wheel-6-on-512_p_954.html
shortysayhi
8J Weller 8 spokes originally destined for a Toyota Hilux, redrilled them to fit a 4 stud pattern & stretched some 195/50/15's This is what the guy said (on the caption of the picture)
shortysayhi
I picked this up today with a hi,low 1.8 carbed (needed rebuild) using this just to get the brat up and running and then when i have more money I'm swapping in a ej22.
TheLoyale
Whats gonna happen with the rest of the car!? Looks real clean..
shortysayhi
Whats gonna happen with the rest of the car!? Looks real clean.. Im keeping it for parts for my gl10 sedan. since i can never find a sedan. It has 18X,XXX MILES ON IT! theres actually quite a bit of rust around windshield, and the underside of the frame is pretty bad, seat tops are ripped but besides that its pretty good, engine is leaking antifreeze into the heads or something (thats why it needs a rebuild) This is something i have NEVER seen... its a riser for the 3rd break light
TheLoyale
Interesting on the riser, is this an '86?
shortysayhi
Never seen one before... its getting moved once i get the car up here! and yeah its a 86, Mostly why i got it is bumpers, trunk (has luggage rack) and engine/ tran and SUSPENSION if i ever decided to swap my air ride to conventional. TheLoyale
Hey! LOVE, its what makes a SUBARU, a Subaru. Enjoy it or else! :-p
shortysayhi
Where else would it go? its a 78 brat... which fallows under this category... if I'm not mistaken. or would it go in the 80's section since I'm putting a ea82. so it belongs in 2 sections, unless theres a new section where its just Car builds... but there isn't. sorry if you don't like where its at but its in the right category, you also don't have to read through it. not causing problems or trying to start something but I'm just saying.
