motor tranny full race in and fits perfect with out doing anything. just need to make a tranny brace its a little different but piece of cake !

i was thinking it was going to be a tight fit ! there is lots of room might put a bigger rad if the oem stock one pops !

new style pedal box in and ready need to make a gas pedal, and a bracket way up top.

Looks much the same as what was done in my old RX.

 

Car is looking WICKED. Keep it up!

 

 

do you make a bracket up top ? i was thinking a nice thick plate of aluminum should hold it from bucking.

Unfortunately I wasn't the one that did the conversion... and I no longer have the car so I can't go out and look.

 

I'll dig through my old pictures tonight and see if I might have something...

well this just worked out perfect ! its like subaru new i was going to stick a water pump for my AWIC set up.

fyi from all that I've researched the AWIC pump should be on the lowest side; ie near the bottom feed of the radiator..

 

This, those pumps are designed to push fluid, not pull it. Just like a fuel pump.

 

 

Also, that vacuum canister is fairly crucial to making the HVAC system work. ;)

ya i could not find what the canister did in the books what does it really do ? so it controls the heater controls ? so i need to put it back in a different spot i take it !

 

which sensor controls the turbo on the dash ?

 

 

 

Bosch 044 fuel pump, need some angle fitting and done.

rear mustache bar is ready to hold the R180 just need to make a bracket for the front of the diff and done.

well this is the tie rod problem taken care of, its simple and works perfect like !

top is xt6 legacy impreza

middle gl-10 turbo

last is whiteline new style

 

what you do is chop the end off so you can toe in the car like factory !

the rear suspension is all old school up top and coilover down town, ill show how i did it very easy to do and keeps all the oem rubbers for when i pick up the ladys and its a nice soft ride !

WOW those 225s are WIIIIIDE! What happened to the JDM STi wheels?

 

 

they fit on the front not to bad at all its the rear i think we will have a problem but tomorrow will see when i do the rear.

 

my 205/45/16 RE11 are on the way should be here some time next week but for now these will do for moving the car.

I think it's s shame to gut the Leg, but to each their own.

 

It is a shame to see a Subaru taken apart, but this car is gonna be so much more awesome when it is done, its soooo clean, and such a clean install, it looks perfect!

i sold my legacy they way it was ! just the 18inch bbs rims and tires i kept. so its all together in my city ripping around still. my buddy owns it.

yes XT6 was taken apart for sure ! i got it dirt cheap for parts and the body was rusted out so i didnt care.

my brand new Bosch 044, these fittings are from the UK for the ford cosworth ! who would have guessed the Leone had the same set up !!

the front is a bit to low, which will come up after corner balance and aliment get worked out. i wouldnt want the honda crowd thinking i want to race lol.

So I have two questions.

 

1. How did you get the mustache bushings out of the mustache?

2. Where are you in Hamilton? I am ironically in Burlington right now and odd as it sounds I would love to see this?
