fortminorj
I'm schooling in automotive mechanics, but I've never done a job like this. I'm replacing the clutch on my 1996 Subaru Impreza 5 spd 1.8l I know it's easiest to pull the engine, but what's my first move?
6 Star
You will get more response if you post in the NewGeneration section of the forum. First step, remove radiator. Disconnect hoses/throttle cable/etc tieing the engine to the car. Undo motormounts and bolts connecting engine to tranny. Disconnect exaust from heads. ^^^ No real particular order Yank engine. Put in your new clutch and do it all backwards.
