hillbillyhans
This isn't a "tech" question, but I didn't see a place for general questions. I'm looking at getting my first subaru. Is $2200/obo right for a '91 loyale/156k mi./good shape? Seems high to me.
rain_man_rich
I bought mine in good condition with 180K for $800. I could probably find more near or at that price locally.
hillbillyhans
Good call. I was thinking around $1000. People around here tend to think that whatever "blue book" says, that's what they'll get.
Gloyale
If it's really nice, low miles, 4wd and everything works and looks good, I'd say $1800-2000 is fair to ask. But the rougher it is, the lower the price. I've gotten 'em for as low as $100-300;)..........by dragging them out of the weeds:rolleyes:
ivantruckman
you should be able to find one for under 1000

Fair condition books out @ $1700?
hillbillyhans
you should be able to find one for under 1000 Seems to be slim pickings in the Rockies right now. I'm looking for a work car that is able to take a couple of trips home to Missouri, go fishing in the mountains, grouse hunting, and camping. My FSJ's are built to the hilt, but the AMC 360's get about 10mpg. My budget is $4k. Am I looking @ the right vehicle for many needs?
