Shift Solenoid 3 AKA Solenoid Assembly Control Part # 31919AA040 is broken (used for overrun clutch; throwing very low resistance readings). Dealer quoted me $385 for the part. Anyone know where I might be able to get an aftermarket one, or should I just hunt down a TCU in a junk yard / sell the car? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's in the trans. Changing TCU's won't do anything. Most yards in my area pull the engines, trans, radiators, diffs, and brakes. Basically anything that can leak in the yard. They drain them and store them in the warehouse. It's pretty hardcore around here for environmental stuff.
