Moosen
So i just put in my weber carb and everything is good, still need to rejet (running a tad rich) but it says i have no oil pressure. I think the cable for the sensor came unplugged but im not sure. Where is the sensor and what does the wire look like/ where does the wire come from. I have a spare wire hanging out over by the oil cap but i cant find where it goes and the oil pump (or what i think is the oil pump) down by the oil filter already has a wire plugged into it? l75eya
On the oil pump end, the wire is connected to the green part of the oil pump pictured here: And in the car the oil pump is located as seen pictured here: Above you can see there are two connection points on the oil pump. The one on the green part is for an oil pressure gauge (Think that's what you need to look at) The one above and to the left of that is for a dummy light. TheLoyale
Sending unit could be crap (Big round thing which screws into the pump) it is not uncommon for those to fail with age or be inaccurate.

TheLoyale
but it happened when i replaced the carb? Hmm, must be a connection, or perhaps a fuse.
Moosen
Hmm, must be a connection, or perhaps a fuse. FUSE! good thinking. gonna go check now edit: nope! dang what else could it be? Edited March 27, 2012 by Moosen
TheLoyale
FUSE! good thinking. gonna go check now Check all fuses as there is not one labeled for just the Oil sending unit. If its a fuse, I bet something else in your car does not work, Dome light, cig lighter ect..
