Scott545
I live in Vermont and my 2008 Forester needs new struts, I think, and ride height here is critical due to how bad our roads are. I've got 152,000 on my '08 Subie Forester. Is there a source other than Subaru to replace the struts and springs at all corners? Any other suggested mods and sources are appreciated - its close to paid off, and I love it, and want to start the improvements with each part out/in now. ccrinc
I found a website today that looks good! www.justsuspension.com KYB struts and shocks at a fabulous price!
Fairtax4me
I've seen that site and Ajusa.com referenced for good prices on KYB struts. KYB is the OEM supplier for Subaru. Their Excel-G line is basically a stock replacement.
edrach
Shipping might be prohibitive from this source, but I buy most of my upgrade stuff from Paul Eklund at Primitive Racing in Tigard (near Portland) Oregon. Paul is a competitive stage rallyist and can advise (and sell) whatever you need to upgrade your Forester. I certainly don't want, or need, a stage rally capable car but I found good advice from Paul based on what I want out of my Impreza wagon. http://www.get-primitive.com/
Scott545
Thanks - I want to go through every sub-system and start building out a true Vermont war wagon. At 152,000, though, when the clutch gets replaced I'm going to toss this engine and put in a lower mileage one.
