FlatFourFrenchy
Today I was cleaning out the PO's junk from my "new" 92 Loyale and came across something unfamiliar. A pouch buttoned on carpet on the vertical edge just below the right side rear seat. It contains an allen wrench. What is it for?
TheLoyale
It is the manual open wrench for the sunroof. My '92 Loyale has it too and so do all EA82 cars. (Even if there is no sunroof)

MilesFox
IT is also there to manually reel the automatic seat belt
TheLoyale
IT is also there to manually reel the automatic seat belt Ah, maybe that is the more intended purpose?
l75eya
Yeah, if you take a look at your auto seat belts, there's an allen screw on it in case they stop working. Subaru engineers. Thought of it all. lol
Gloyale
Yeah, if you take a look at your auto seat belts, there's an allen screw on it in case they stop working. Subaru engineers. Thought of it all. lol Helps if the motor dies. But usually it's a problem with the cable that stops them from working, and the Allen wrech doesn't help squat with that. I won't own a Loyale or a first Gen legacy because of the stupid belts.

You can always retro fit them out
