monk50
I have a 95 legacy LS. I have replaced the seals on the front crank and front cam seals. Is there a seal or an "o" ring that can/should be replaced on the rear of the cams? How difficult is it to change? Suggestions. Reason, there seems to be an oil leak that may be coming from that area. Not it is not the valve cover or valve cover bolt seals/ they have been replaced. Thanks for the information gerald in NC
99obw
Assuming you have an EJ22, on the right (passenger) side head there is a rear cam cover that is sealed with an o-ring. Two bolts hold the cover in place. Very easy to change. EDIT: I didn't explain it very well the first time.
monk50
What about the driver's side? On both my subs, there seems to be a leak only on the passenger's side, but just curious about the other side. monk Thanks for the quick response. 99obw
IIRC the left (driver's) side only has seals at the front of the head.

avk
On the left side, there's an O-ring between the cylinder head and the camshaft support (the part which takes up space between the head and the timing cover, and holds the cam sensor). The O-ring is exact same part as on the right side.
