crawford Posted March 25, 2004 Share Posted March 25, 2004 I have a 93 Loyale 2wd, auto. Anyway, in January the oil pump went out on me. I was wondering how much engine damage could have occured in the 10 or so miles that I drove it to and from the garage. Is it worth replacing the oil pump, or the engine or the entire car? crawford Posted March 26, 2004 Author Share Posted March 26, 2004 I started the car up one morning and the oil pressure indicator light came on. It normally does this, but usually it goes off once the engine is warm. This time it didn't.
