cal_look_zero
I have my interior taken out because I thought a WRX carpet kit would fit (it doesn't) and was wondering what the crap this thing is? It's not the brake switch, so I dunno...

nipper
That is the G-Sensor. It is for the ABS brakes. Very important. Though usually they are more squarish. Edited April 27, 2012 by nipper
jarl
That has to be the most over-mounted sensor in automotive history Two M8 bolts to hold a thick steel plate, to which a light metal plate is welded, holding (just by pressure) the sensor
Recian
Takes alot of force to hold down the flux capacitor

If it leans forward or back it may react differently.
nipper
It is in the center of gravity of the car. It can not vibrate, nor can it be disturbed by carbon based interfaces, hence why it is strongly mounted. Also this way incredible amounts of bas will not bother it either.
