Tonyp5143
Hey guys, I am going to instal a new Weber 32/36 on my 1985 brat today. I have searched and cannot find a write up on this. I am not sure what to do with the fuel return line and all this other extra plumbing, and vac lines.I have a 1985 Brat with 3AT. Thanks, Tony P

islandjon
Is there one for an EA81?
Mykeys Toy
This isn't a write up per se. http://www.indysworld.com/80s/general/USRM/mick-usrm/weber/weber.html The write ups that you have seen are pretty much the same as an ea82 just minor differences. It really isn't that hard unless you have a bunch of factory options like ac and power steering. That is what is kicking my @$$
Tonyp5143
I am still not sure about the fuel return line, and all of the other evap lines, vac ports, etc on my E81.... Tony P
Mykeys Toy
I did not use the return I removed the y connecter and just have a fuel in.
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
The Same on the EA82's ... Disconnected Return Line, just the Fuel in. The Main Difference between the EA82's and the EA81's procedure must be related to the Adapter plates... EA81's are easier because there is no Funky two plates adapters to do that Swap. Kind Regards. desertsubaru
This is the adapter for the EA81. The rest of the write up is the same, only the adapter is different. http://www.carburetion.com/Weber/invtocartweber.asp?Part1=99004.
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
But the TransDapt 2107 will Work, if you WELD it to the intake as I Did. By That, you'll Avoid the Use of Gaskets between the Intake and the Adapter, avoiding future problems. And Don't Forget to Close the Coolant Passage. Kind Regards. lostbrat
I was going to weld it anyways as per 2.7 turbo did in his build.. weld the coolant ports sure is a good idea!!! thanks for that reminder... If I dont end up using the intake atleast it will ready for next build up.
