Legacy777
If nobody knows of one here, you might try posting something in the South East Region forum on NASIOC to see if someone could recommend someone in the area.
idosubaru
she can also ask here for Subaru specific information. like if she needs a timing belt or has a check engine light we can give her very specific information on how best to proceed and the cheapest cost parts and which are better to use subaru parts on...etc.
1997reduxe
I know it's hard to find a mechanic that you can believe in. If you go to this page: http://www.cartalk.com/ and register, then you can go to the "mechanics files" link and it should show recommended mechanics in meridian. (I tried it with a meridian zip, 39305, and it only came up with two shops but meridian's pretty small so that's prob all people have written in about.) But it's a start. I have a very fond memory of meridian. When I moved from PA down to my sister's in TX, I brought 4 cats with me in 2 carriers, and had no A/C. in my Sube. I arrived in Meridian in the afternoon, this was June, and boy was it hot. There was actually a bar/gambling type place in the real old part of downtown, the old thick-masonry buildings, and they let me store my cats in the carriers along the cool walls and i had some beers while it cooled down outside. Never forget it. A whole 'nother world from PA, I'll tell you. Real nice tho. I couldn't believe it when he said, "Yeah, sure, bring em in!"
