brus brother Posted May 7, 2012 Share Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) It appears that the rear interior door panels are interchangeable from the 05 to the 08 Outback. There is a different level of trim between the models as the 05 Limited is all "leather" and the 08 is a lesser model with a cloth insert mid panel. Is this middle section able to be swapped between the panels? Don't want to bother removing and monkeying around if it isn't swappable. Fairtax4me Posted May 7, 2012 Share Posted May 7, 2012 On the older cars the trim panel is just held on by screws. Remove the screws and it falls right off the panel. Alot of newer stuff has plastic tabs that they melt to hold panels on. Not sure if Subaru did it this way or not. Opposedforces isnt any help either.
