carfreak85
Oh, it is so sick! 73,000 miles, I couldn't beleive it! I haven't decided if I want to drive it or part it out yet. Pics can be seen here and on the next page too.
SuperRallyRoo
By sick do u mean rusted, dilapidated and run down?
Nug
That rust'll buff right out. Good score!
bushbasher
looks like a good candidate for bobbing, a lift, 28s and flat black paint!

wagonpowaa
nice piece galen, I especially like the audio system in that thing- I can see you bumpin in it with mix tape of Alvin and chipmunks blarin out the windows - "...a hulaaaaahoooop..." and out the windows meaning the window in tha back because there isn't one! I agree with matt though, if sick like pnuemonia means pnuemonia is rust, then yes, your brat is sick like pu-no-monia. But on a less bashing note, welcome to the club!
carfreak85
Welcome to the club! Thats rich! No window? It has a plexyglass sheet back there!
wagonpowaa
so galen, when are you actually gonna have a sube you can drive. and I know you'll say that the brat runs good, but I haven't seen you rollin to school in it yet. ???
AKIRA
that decal is awesome, I have never seen one like that before! on a sadder note, that looks like way too bad to be worth saving, sorry. welcome to the Brat club. -AK
Bratwerst
I know for around here thats too far gone in most peoples eyes - I see nothing un-fixable there. Not even a lot of money if you have the tools - just some time and a lot of primer See people working with worse fords and chevy's all the time - its just a matter of passion towards soobs - and welcome to the club! - Erik Hosa - Tacoma, WA -
AKIRA
yea, anything is fixable, just depends.
bushbasher
I dont see any terminal rust issues, the rear corner would take a bit of beating and bondo, but you could put new fenders on the front. I still think it'd make a good bush-basher, time to branch out into the off-road scene!
Mr. Carb
Dude, it looks almost like my brat! a bit mangled though... nothing but a little bit of hammering can't fix. and maybe some bondo, and paint.
DerFahrer
Being from FL, I can say two things: 1) I see a Brat once every 3 months or so. I think they're so precious, I'd try to save it no matter how bad! 2) I don't know very much about rust. My XT has hardly any at all, my Legacy doesn't have one speck of it anywhere. That said, I'd fix it, especially with that few miles on it!
Flowmastered87GL
Hmmm the bed is about the same as mine. THe firewall is WAY better The bed sides (outside) are worse. Still a good find (any brat is) Definitely could use a lift and bob
moosens
In Vermont that's "nearly rustfree". Good luck with it.Beat on it,my 2 cents.
ShawnW
Thats an offroader at a minimum, daily driver easy and restore possible. Come out to the midwest and you would understand what rust really is.
GeneralDisorder
Damn - that poor thing looks like hammered *****. If you part it I want some stuff.... and even if you don't, it looks like we could make a deal..... want to part with that rear seat bracket? Sweet82
Sick? That still has paint left on it! That's not sick! That's a starting platform for a mean off-roader! Glenn, 82 Hatch, will it used to be..... 01 Forester, still is....
