subarurx yo
i love the d/r awd, but its sadly going down hill. it sounds like i have metal flinging around in it and can hear a rough sound like bearings while cruising and excessive input shaft play:horse:. i have a push button 4wd tranny from turbo wagon, and im wondering if it would be a bolt on fit, both have 3.7 rear diffs, or is a lot of internal parts same to fix the awd one? MilesFox
it is a direct bolt on, and the diff lock switch will be the 4wd. the vacuum diaphragm between both trans is the same. it all fits the same except there is no d/r lever on the donor.
Steve W.
Hi. I think you'll find the turbo out put shafts will be 27 splines and the D/R are 25. IIRC you need turbo half shafts. Luck with your project. S.

Luck with your project. S. Turbo axles are 25 spline and Non turbo axles are 23 spline. if both transmissions are 3.7:1 Diffs it is likely that both are turbo trans with 25 spline
