Chevydog89
I've had pretty spotty luck when trying to get parts for my 92 Loyale. Almost every place like Autozone, Advance, Napa, etc, will have parts, although when I get the parts in, they're typically the wrong part. Autozone has so far been the best place to get parts, although they always have to be ordered and wait a few days to get it. Right now I'm looking to get new shocks, and I don't want to spend a ton of money on them, but I want a solid pair of shocks. So I was just wondering if anyone knows of a place, or site, that will have almost anything someone needs when it comes to parts. I know it's harder to find older car parts, but there has to be one place or site, better than the next.

kabarakh
I second rockauto.com Partstrain.com also usually gets me the correct parts. If you're looking for shocks and other suspension parts currently, check out this link by loyale 2.7 turbo... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=110546 Napa et al might have the upgrades in stock, as they are probably slightly more common then our old subi parts

man on the moon
Junkyard! I find even within parts store companies some stores are better than others. There is one Napa close to me that, well, there is a reason I don't go to that one. There is another a few miles away that has always found what I need, even if I'm upgrading or modifying something that isn't stock for the car, all I have to do is explain what I'm looking for and they will find it! Failing that, the dealer usually has access to what I'm hunting for, though it usually has to be ordered.
T'subaru
rockauto is a great source as there are alot of good quality parts on wholesaler closeout, which is good and bad unfortunatly. Beyond that Id recommend eveloping a relationship with a carquest store. They own worldpac, which provides mainly import parts that are oem. I get excellent pricing ( wholesale ) and overnight delivery without any freight costs ever, and I live on the edge of the world. You need to specify worldpac and hook up with a parts person that is motivated, I never hit any of the typical retail autoparts stores.
