subarubrat
When I was pulling the Tcase the other week I came accros this twin tube single runner roll bar. I took a 9 inch section out of it and re-joined it today. It will be filled and sanded/painted tommorow morning.
mcbrat
Scott, that one will look much better than a stock one... the stock ones tubes are too small for your monster
subarubrat
I really like the factory high bar but pickins are real non existant here. I will have some finished pics up tommorow with the KCs on it. I do like this one though. The twin tube looks great. What was really neat was the way the taper fits the BRAT bed taper exactly. northguy
When you get done with it, your rig is going to look too good to go wheelin' in. Excellent job with it.
PHATBRAT
Scott, What did the roll bar come off of? BTW, Your BRAT TOTALLY kicks *****! Hopefully, the people that see it will want to run right out and buy a subaru. I would absolutely love to use yours as a guide to build one for me but I just can't afford it. Now that I am thinking of it, did you do the write up for your lift? Or for stuffing the ER27 in there? Excellent job! Keep it up. Boz
subarubrat
The bar was in a Mazda but looked real close to the Nissan one, it may even fit both. I have a lift write up for the 8 done, and the 12 will be done. I really wish that I had twice the time so that I could get the work and the documentation done. I will tell you this. It makes a difference when people get your vision. The guy at the wrecking yard uses an EA82 wagon for a yardmobile and he loves what I have done with the BRAT. He sold me the Tcase for the going rate but threw in the shafts for free. Today he sold me the bar for about half of list. Little things like that help out in the big picture. I might get this done for WRX rather than STI pricetag.
