1982gl4
I am looking at getting this http://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/3074345444.html for up in columbus ohio. is it reliable good on gas and good in the snow? Very good in the snow, decent on gas, and I have driven my 82 and 84 to Pennsylvania with out an issue from Vermont, but they have been very well maintained and no longer have the stock carburetor, the engine is built proof, overall great cars. The only concern moving that clean of a car to Ohio would be rust. It would get to it quick. If I found a hatch that clean, there's no way I would drive it in the salt belt during the winter, but that's just me Edited June 15, 2012 by 1982gl4

I wouldn't take a car that old, that's that clean, into the rust belt. I'd try to find a 1.8 Impreza or something, and drive that in the rust belt. There really isn't any way to counteract the rust. ALL 80s Japanese vehicles are subject to it. They didn't really get it under control until the 90s.
