1993loyaleman Posted June 17, 2012 Share Posted June 17, 2012 hey all soob noobie here. just did timing belts on my 93 loyale manual awd. did cam seals water pump and seals oil pump seals crank seal new belts tensioners and such. new belt off the alternator. seems to idle and drive nice but whines when accelerated. checked power steering fluid was totally empty . power steering pump making the noise?please help!!!! l75eya Posted June 17, 2012 Share Posted June 17, 2012 I'd fill up your power steering fluid too haha, use ATF to fill it. Specifies which one right on the resevoir cap. 1993loyaleman Posted June 18, 2012 Author Share Posted June 18, 2012 awesome ill try to back off the belt a tad:headbang:. and yes i filled the PS fluid with whatever it was on the cap.not sure why it was empty? i ran it for like an hour up the canyon when i got home i threw apiece of cardboard the length of the underbody not one drop af anything!? everything on top and every line i could follow was dry. weird?. anyway thanks to this forum i was able to tackle this job with full confidence:drunk:. ill let you know what happens with the belt adjust. thanks guys!
