l75eya
I don't think I'd want to have a subaru without frame-less doors. Does the BRZ have frame-less doors? I like my cars easy to break into. :-p I know rugby subie doesn't, though. Damn punks moving his car around without his consent.

TheLoyale
BRZs indeed have Framed windows, as all new Subarus boo! I've seen a BRZ in person at the Subaru Show, and I'm not real impressed with the interior, its kinda blah. Not hating on it, but I kinda expected more! XT6 and SVX have nicer interiors and they're 20+ yrs old. I don't think I would want a RWD Subaru :-p
987687
In the video (other thread), it appears to have frameless windows.

jeffx
I swear that I saw an FR-S this weekend with Toyota Badges on it. I am not delusional. I hopped in my car (I was the grocery) to follow it and it was gone.
1 Lucky Texan
wouldn't it have a Scion badge? supposedly there will be about 5000 Subaru BRZs available, and about twice that many Scion FRSes so, I'd expect they are easier to order/get and will be spotted more often. No, it definitely had Toyota Badges on it. It was a coupe, and Toyota doesn't currently have any coupes in its line up. It was new. And it was BRZ/FR-S shaped. It was white. I know that they are badged as Toyotas on their global site. http://www.toyota-global.com/showroom/vehicle_gallery/all/#/86/gallery/ Edited July 23, 2012 by jeffx add link

Mugs
I have seen it advertised on T.V. as a Toyota. Not only that, but they grossly lie about it. In Paraphrase: "The worlds first boxer engine, and the only one ever to be made" ....um excuse me, but what about Porsche, Corvair, Subaru, Gabriel, and a few others that I can't think of right at this moment. 1 Lucky Texan
I just saw that commercial. It doesn't mention Toyota, and 'maybe' it's saying it's the first boxer with that special injection/ D4S and direct injection tech. w'ever. I'm not sure though - there's a LONG pause between the different statements.
Singularity21
I found this by bouncing around on YouTube after watching Lucky Texan's clip. It seems that elsewhere it is also being marketed as a Toyota, what I find interesting is that they didn't mention it also being a Scion.
