cohophysh
Does anyone have a good link to troubleshooting the A/C in a 90 legacy. The compressor would run but all that came out was hot air.

capn_r
What are gauge pressures when it is running? I'm guessing a txv issue.

capn_r
Thermostatic expansion valve. It's the metering device for the refrigerant at the inlet of the evaporator. If the refrigerant charge is close to what it should be and cooling isn't happening it may be not metering properly. System pressures would help isolate what issues exist causing the lack of cooling.
