johndotsun
Breaks are done! Or at least I think they are, haven't been able to test them yet as the carb is out at the moment for my terribly misguided efforts at rebuilding it. I'm in pretty far over my head with the carb. I'm strongly considering purchasing a replacement hitachi carb instead of continuing my very poor efforts to rebuild it. I'm pretty sure that I've managed to wreck the anti-dieseling solenoid and I can't seem to find a replacement. I would be very appreciative if someone could tell me if this is the correct carb for a 1983 gl wagon with 4wd and a/c: http://www.fcproducts.com/cgi/apps_data.cgi I believe that it is, but I want to make sure before I purchase. Of course if anyone knows a better source, I would strongly appreciate that as well!
mikaleda
if you are going to get a new carb don't waste your money on a hitachi, it is cheaper and better to get a weber
