rguyver Posted March 29, 2004 Share Posted March 29, 2004 Normaly i work on the older stuff 90's and under but this project was to good to not get in to . We got all the mechanical end of it all worked out but when the car boosts it leans out and sputters just after 1-2+ - Psi , we have a air O2 sencer gage . Now my question is this use to be a N/A 2.5 so do we need a turbo fuel pressure regulator ? also we have installed a Gretty fuel management piggy back computer and were new to this and not realy sure how to set it up ? it has the optional desplay screen for it too . Legacy777 Posted March 30, 2004 Share Posted March 30, 2004 yeah you're going to need some form of rising rate fuel pressure regulator, unless you get an upgraded fuel pump of some kind. Have you hooked up a gauge to the fuel line and watched what the pressure is at idle, and when you hit boost? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rguyver Posted March 31, 2004 Author Share Posted March 31, 2004 thanks thats what i thought . the fuel gage is a good idea i'll try that if the regulator seems to not fix it , What is the stock fuel pump good for + the injectors ? we plan on only running 5-7 psi for the turbo but i would like some ley way with some extra boost creep . i looked on the RS board and there is a lot of good info there, thanks .
