Xadamx1
Okay well my 97 Outback legacy finally bit the dust a few weeks ago, got what looks like a control rod through the engine block. So I went out and bought a 99 Outback legacy same engine pretty much same everything except this one is a stick, fixed a few things on it and shes good to go. But today driving I noticed when under heavy acceleration in lower gears the window washer fluid sprays out the nozzle on the back window? Never seen this happen before any ideas what I could do to fix it? I have gone through half a gallon of washer fluid this week before I noticed the problem. CoupedUpSubie
Is it full power spray with the wiper going? I'm leaning towards a loose connection or some wires grounding out. Check the switch for the rear washer fluid.

Check the switch for the rear washer fluid. No its not full power spray, it spray goes up maybe two inches from the nozzle, and no the wiper itself does not move. brus brother
This has been covered a few times. There is a check valve mentioned (I think Nissan) that you can install. Read the following thread and related links. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=22394&highlight=rear+washer+leak Edited August 3, 2012 by brus brother
