Hocrest Posted August 5, 2012 Share Posted August 5, 2012 A friend has a 2010 Forester (not sure which trim) He asked me if he can add the steering wheel stereo controls. Does anyone have any experience with this upgrade? According to the owners manual, it looks like there are two stereos available in 2010. One with a 6 disk and one with a single CD. Legacy777 Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 I don't know whether you can add the controls, but typically the wiring will probably be there. You might have to swap steering wheels as well as stereos to get the controls. I'm not sure how they're integrated. Hopefully someone else will chime in with some experience.
