Miatadude
I am pretty sure my master cylinder needs to be replaced. I adjusted the rear drums, but the pedal needs to be pumped 2-3 times to get decent pressure. Is a remanufactured ok? Would Advance Auto or Autozone be a good source? I did search, but did not find an answer.
Durania
I have one on my 95 Outback. You probably cant even get one from the dealer. You gotta do what you need to.
Mykeys Toy
I am going to assume this lack of pressure is recent. And that you have bleed the brakes all the way around to make sure. So I got a new master at teh autoparts store for $50 no core and once it was bench bleed ( I waited over a year to do it ) The brakes were awesome. Almost as good as my hatch with rear discs... Touchy but fun on anything that isn't pavement.
Miatadude
Thank guys. I have had the Brat since last December, and got it on the road in January. I did bleed the entire system 3 times. It has never had a firm pedal since I have owned it. Will pick up a reman unit and go for it.
