bigjim5551212
Tonight I bled the brakes in my Sube. I also took a back wheel off and put it on the front. After that, the front wheel (silver paint 5.5") started to rub the caliper. The one that was on did not. I put the wheel on because the car was pulling slightly to the right and the other tire was newer. So, I switched the other back tire/wheel to the front. It rubs too. I didnt want to put the original one that was on, b/c I didnt like the handling. The other wheels are black 5" steels. Im not sure on the width of the wheels, but the silver wheel for sure is 1/2" wider than the black ones. Can anyone say what is going on and why? NoahDL88
you are useing an EA-81 wheel on an EA-82, the EA-81's wont fit, the caliper size is different compared to the models.
GLCraig
It sounds like you have a set of EA81 wheels on your EA82 subaru. Having the wheels rub is a know issue with this combination. Your best solution is to put your good tires on a set of EA82 wheels.
