Need YOUR input as a Soob owner!

Recommended Posts

I just got sponsorship from BOW-WOW Import Specialists in Lake City (Seattle) for this years WCSS.

They'd like to improve their relationship with Subaru lovers. In the past, we've gone to them for Redline Weber kits cuz they have the best prices and can get them asap and not "some time in the next couple weeks".

They want to remind everyone that they are an import store and not specifically VW. They can get just about anything we need.

They can do decent prices for us, even give a discount to folks if they mention a local Soob club when they come in.

They will gladly take orders out of state that need shipping.

Their Website is still primitive, it will evolve though.

What would you like to see them carry to save you a trip to the idiots at Schucks/Kragen?

Thanks, Eric

aftermarket hubs that'lll fit our cars and I don't mean the stupid adaptor, I mean the real hub:D Either that or rims that will fit our cars 4 lug pattern that aren't either stock, Cal Masters, or something from Les Schwab that wouldn't really look good on my wagon.

Axles that don't suck balls

Short throw shifters

Actual hop up parts like cold air intakes, internals (ie pistons, rods, etc.)

Bow Wow is my shop of choice! I live about a mile from the Lynnwood shop.

I've boughten so far: Delta cams (3 day turnaround), Reman'd axles (haven't broken yet!), Reseal kit for EA82, water pump, oil pump, misc. gaskets. PBR brake pads, and my weber...

On a lot of things, i can order it in the morning on my way to work... and pick it up on my way home!

I routinely stop by the store to check prices, talk with the guys, etc... I haven't met anyone that doesn't know what they are talking about, or that snubs me, or what i'm doing with my cars.

I guess I wish they would stock SOA oil filters...and crush washers. Thats about it.

I've also gotten timing belts... front end reseal kits, wheel bearings... Anything.

We've got a bow-wow up here, sounds like thats where I should be getting parts. Springs and good shocks, good quality axles, urethane bushings, good quality gaskets and seals oh and steering wheel adapters. If I am not mistaken they are just a parts place right? So about as much as they can do is research stuff thats already being manufactured, and put it up for order?

100% aluminum radiators and heater cores

brake calipers that don't suck like the rest of the aftermarket ones

EA81 cylinder heads with injector bosses

some kind of locking diff and I don't mean a lincoln locker

14 inch and 15 inch wheels with 4x140mm lug pattern

304SS exhaust systems with equal length header

I think whiteline make a rear sway bar kit for the EA81s and EA82s add them to the list.

100 amp alternators

R160 stubs, good CV boot kits (with good clamps), NGK "gapless" plugs, aftermarket open element air filters for our stock carbs, window rubber for the EA81's, hi-flow intakes, camber adjustment kits (for the front) and a good cluch kit for the 5spd 4WD for under $150. (I know, I'm just dreaming on that last one)
