Well I already have two other things going on that day that I'm debating on which one to do. I also still need to fix my car. I really want to come up there soon though. Hopefully we get some rain soon.

First off, as you all may have heard, there has been a fire at Walker. So far it has burned about 25 acres in the recent Roaming Roe timber harvest near the SMC trail. I’m not sure how successful fire crews have been in containing the blaze, but as of Sunday Walker has been closed to recreation use while fire dangers are still high and crews are trying to get a handle on the situation. I’ll keep you informed of new developments as I learn more. If possible, please pass this information along to your respective clubs.

Trail was good. We only did one. My engine decide to act up on Conway hill on the way there and then I lost my oil cap half way through the first trail. Thanks to Rick's roadside chainsaw carving skills and a little help from Butters we made it out ok.

Need to swap out the Frankenmotor for the stock 2.2 but other than that no major damage just a few new dents.

More like breaking things that needed to be fixed on the old ride. :-p

Note to self: Fresh heads + tired short block = Excessive crank case pressure.

So much pressure that you will lose your oil fill cap like a champagne cork on New Years.

That motor is out and stripped down to the short block. Spare motor is in. She'll be ready for the next one.:headbang:
