why does this head look weird to me? i cant figure it out. its off of an EA-81 motor.

Also , three of the pistons have a small hole bored in the center and one doesn't. I have never seen that before. i will post some pictures after this evening.

very nice, I just love those twin carb motors :)

I have been told by an engine rebuilder, that in order to stop piston slap in these motors when they are rebuilt, the biggest piston in diameter is put into cylinder 3. how true that is I don't know but he said it works.

Nice. What is it going into?

Judging from the bonnet I would say a loyale (aka "L" series in Australia)

I wouldn't mind having a set of those heads sent in my direction :D

Looking good there mate - those engines, dubbed or named an EA81S are super rare over here. Apparently they love to rev and go hard in general too. Look after it ;)

Cheers

Wish I could read those articals in Japanese.

Ive heard the Dual Carb motor had a bit more power and was slightly better than the turbo motor? But dont know if theres any truth to that.

The DC Ea81 RX engine is awesum. Good pulling power up hills.
