unibrook
Try to clean the ground wire eyelet/bolt coming out of the wire harness at the ABS modulator. Someone advised cleaning off the corrosion on this ground, and it worked for me. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=131070&highlight=abs+horn Edited October 19, 2012 by unibrook
porcupine73
There's some leads you can jumper depending on the ABS style to get it to flash out the code(s), then you can tell what problem it is seeing.
nipper
Clean all the wheel speed sensors. If they are not perfectly cylindrixal in shape, they can give false readings. I too am having this issue now, just too lazy to look at it right now.
ocei77
Check the tone ring on the wheel where you have the noise. Have the same issue with daughter's Forester. She took it to a "mechanic" and they broke it putting in a ball joint. Was pulsing like crazy. I just pulled the fuse, until she has it replaced. She doesn't want them to fix it, even though they acknowledge busting it. Tho they din't tell her before I found the source of the problem! O. nipper
In all fairness to the shop, tone rings break all the time when work is done as they tend to be brittle. She should go back to the shop and work out a deal. I have when it has happened to me.
