Dr. RX
I was at the Lynnwood PAP today pulling a tranny, after I finished I call Tex to see if he wanted to go to lunch. There is a Hooters by where he works and since I've never been to one before I though we should go there for lunch. The food was great, but I had a hard time keeping a conversation going with Tex, there were just too many distractions. Nice place, great service, very friendly waitresses, a great place for lunch. Has anyone else been to a Hooters for a meal???

BlueSoob
Ya know, when I went to the Hooters on Lake Union, I was disappointed. I know that people go there for the -food- but really, I couldn't see any other reason for wanting to go? The girls all had too much make-up and were wearing shoes that didn't match their outfit. PLEASE!
NV Zeno
Sure, the restaurant in Reno was lots of fun (closed now), Las Vegas (Sahara Ave.) is much bigger and more boisterous, but kind of touristy. Hooters in Phoenix is a regular meeting place for my former college buddies and me..always a good time there. Good burgers, too.

Dr. RX
BlueSoob (aka Amanda), the waitress at the Lynnwood resturant didn't have too much make-up on, infact there were a few that didn't look like that had any make-up on, they all wore white tennis shoes which seemed to match their outfits perfectly. It seemed to be a sports bar atmosphere, several TVs with sport event going on, and a larger screen TV with whatever the main sporting event of interest was playing on it. Overall it was a nice place for lunch, but I don't think I'd take a date there.

samo
NW Nismo's last team meeting was at Lynnhood Hooters. We also had one at Lake Union, but I was not impressed. At least at Lynnwood, a couple of the waitresses were pretty cute - too bad our waitress was SO FREAKING LOUD.
Flowmastered87GL
my friend Vince and I got the 3 mile island hotwings there... the waitress was pretty good looking (not overly made up) The food was good, but my digestive system was paying for those wings for the next 2-3 days

99obw
Some friends of mine really enjoy going there, so I tag along for lunch once in a while. The wings suck, but growing up in WNY my wing standards are pretty high. Their hottest wing isn't even equal to a mild wing at one of the local places. One of my friends knows a waitress really well, so we always get her and she gives up excellent service. The problem is, lunch at hooters always involves several pitchers of beer, then lunch at hooters turns into after lunch drinks at the strip club down the street. Their food is much better and the scenery is more interesting too.
Ratty2Austin
I have been to the lynnwood one before too... I agree about the distractions part... but, it wasnt the best I have seen (this is when I was in high school when I went, and the gilrs at my school were much more impressive as far as attractiveness) the food as I remember it, wasnt that great either, thus I have only been there once or twice- it might not help that I am not a "sports" type of person either... on another note, if you go down to Alki beach, or Greenlake on a nice day... MiNoahsPinkMartini
Lets just say for the record, one of my buddies worked as a chef at the one on lake union for a few years. If you had ever had him cook you a dinner, you'd know that people don't go there for the food!
Dr. RX
Well Krissy, that is an endorsement not to go to the Lake Union resturant. The food that I had yesterday was good, but then it's kind of hard to mess up a hamburger. The price was about that same as I would have paid at a place like Red Robin for the same amount of food. Austin, you went to school with fish?? I guess so, they travel in schools. By the way, I think they are fish, but you left out two letters, it should be gillers not gilrs. Maybe I was there on a better day, or they have had a staff change since you were there, or maybe it just that fact that I'm a lot older then you and my taste isn't quite as picky as yours. Turbone
Ok, whens the next lunch. I've never been there yet, and I'm close (almost ) to Corky's age. I'm not much for hot wings, but I can handle the scenery
BlueSoob
So when IS lunch anyhow.. perhaps we should plan on a date just for fun some friday or saturday... the Lynwood one though... not hearin (and haven't seen) much for the Lake Union one.. I'll celebrate and wear my "Girlie" T-Shirt I bought from the USMB. Hehehe I'm a dork
Wrench Wench
Thanks Austin, I know I'm cuter than any of the girls at Hooters. I actually like that resteraunt. It's a good all age place, but there aren't little kids around. I even thought of applying there once, but I didn't want my girl scout summer camp boss getting a call for a reference. lol The food is pricey though. So if someone else pays, I'm in. ~Connie
