smotocon1 Posted April 7, 2004 Author Share Posted April 7, 2004 so there is no factory boost control? then what do the two lines 1 from the waistgate 2 from the out of turbo go to then. I had a 91 legacy turbo and had to disconnect and plug those while leaving the solinoid plugged in. Is this a defferant system? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
calebz Posted April 7, 2004 Share Posted April 7, 2004 There is a boost control of sorts. its called a fuel cutoff.. after so many seconds of boost exceding 9-10psi, your fuel system shuts down for a second. On the 85-86 models, theres a hose/solenoid combo that you can unplug to disable the fuel cutoff, but not on 87+ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
