I sat around the other night with sandpaper(300 grit-ish, and 1000 grit) and polished the inside leading edges of the twin sticks to get them to move more fluidly next to each other. Then hit them with a dremel and some rouge..

Thats about it, I think I have made a deal on My Subie EJ d/r, so I will have the scrilla to throw at this thing again soon.

I need ARP studs for my knuckles, then I can put stuff together the way I want to!!

the clutch slave has to be from like a 2.5rs style. NA hydraulic, same with the clutch fork.

I looked just slightly earlier than you posted. It is literally from 2.5 5 speeds. from like 97 to whenever that generation ends.

Got athe proper Slave, and mounted it up the trans to make sure it fit.

Then checked the fitting to the Toyota master cylinder..

I got the t case lined up,the4n realized the crosmember I got for my 85 frame, didna line up with an 82?ish frame....

IMG_5731_zps42d9129c.jpg

So , gotta remedy that....

And then remedy the front shock towers. The preliminary numbers state tthat the ford Towers are not going to work in this sitcheachin.

So , gotta deal with that...

Then we shall see what comes a knockin...

My buddy & I cut his cross member in pieces to build a custom mount for his Chevy motor & trans. We used the sides, but welded in a plate for a new bottom.

Im sure you could do it in an hour... cut each end off... bolt them to the frame. Tack replacement plate in place... remove and finish.

I have a buddy down the road with a CNC plasma table. He is going to be cutting me a mount like the Front Range Offroad DIY mount.I will be using that once I get it this week.

I should have the rest of my axle rebuild stuff by Friday, including my hub gears.

Then I will be putting that stuff together.

I am looking at trading the tires I have due to them being radials.....

But with my twin stick almost done,I have alot of irons in the fire right now.

So, I needed to add accoutrement for shock mounting in the front.

IMG_5751_zps962b9a44.jpg

Then needed to start the shockmounts

IMG_5753_zps28ea7615.jpg

Then I started the other side, and forgot to seat the pin on the follower:,,,,

Decided to move onto the axle again.

Fingeredd on this being the last mods to the axle before being put together.
